bloXmove.NG — Beta testing started
First batch of VIP testers from our community on board
bloXmove.NG is nearing market launch. Development is coming to a close, internal testing is ongoing and we have no reached the pre-release beta phase.
We believe in community engagement in general and swarm intelligence as the best tool for quality control when it comes to testing. Which is why we have reached out to the community to enagage them into the beta testing.
The community has shown genuine interest by jumping on board and signing up for the Beta test program. It is absolutely impressive to have you guys on board helping to improve bloXmove mobility dApp for Nigeria. We would like to give you an update about the upcoming steps.
6th of March: we are starting the beta test
Five local testers from Nigeria and five testers from the BLXM community got selected as VIP testers last week. We are starting the first round with a limit of ten testers because we want to ensure that the crew3 test space is set up very well and we need to finalize a few proprietary technologies (e.g., the connection of the NFTicket socket for On/Off ramping). With those 10 VIP testers everything will be in place and proofed for when we open the beta testing to all who applied to contribute.

Community-based testing and swarm intelligence
Why do we need many of you as beta testers? The Beta test program aims to achieve the following objectives:
- To test and evaluate the performance of the d(app) features;
- Testing for effectiveness and efficiency.
- To get feedback from the bloXmove community members, and other participants, on the adaptability (how will the Nigerian market receive the solution), and usability (how easy was their experience with the d(app))
- To stress-test the d(app) and uncover bugs and vulnerabilities.
The beta testing is the final big step towards our product launch of the very first mobility dApp and blockchain-based mobility platform in April.
We believe the wider the range of feedback we get, the better will be the result.
What’s Next?
Once the initial group has tested and refined the code to an acceptable level of stability, we will be extending the round of testers. The number of testers will increase significantly in the second public round of the beta test program. By then, we would have activated the proprietary technologies and made them available for public use.
